Our Story

Our story began in the United States in 2015. In the US, the direct-to-consumer business model had already gained a pretty firm foothold and we became very successful selling a single product. In early 2016, this business model slowly blew over to the Netherlands. From then on, we became a big and successful company in the Benelux, mainly on Bol.com.

Meanwhile, MeruBrands has grown into a house of brands with a broad portfolio of successful brands. We grow rapidly every year and reach millions of consumers in the Benelux with our brands. But our ambition is greater: our goal is to take up a dominant position in all European marketplaces with our current and future brands

From our main offices in Almere and with the help of our sales agents in Asia, we develop and market our brands throughout Europe. Development and growth form the basis of MeruBrands. These are our pillars day in and day out; as a company, as a team, and as individuals. With our brands and products, we want to offer consumers the best possible experience.

Direct-to-consumer model (D2C)

We believe that the direct-to-consumer model works for the customer and for us! We market our brands and products directly to consumers via online channels such as marketplaces, deal sites and our own webshops. Hence, there is no intervention of wholesalers or other links. This is why our brands rank amongst the highest on all relevant shopping platforms in the Benelux.
